Dr. Cummins is a second-generation dentist who studied at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill after growing up on the Caribbean island of Barbados. Later, he went to the University of Maryland for dental school, where he served as class president. Dr. Cummins pursued an advanced general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he was chosen to hold the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Cummins practiced in New York following his residency before relocating to Philadelphia, where he met his wife, Julie. They brought their dog Kiwi back to Maryland with them, and he was overjoyed to be a part of the community.
